Soccer

This week of sport kicks off on Tuesday evening with a huge clash between Liverpool and Real Madrid, the Champions League finalists of 2019-2020. Although Liverpool come into this game in surprisingly good form, having picked up victories against both Everton and Newcastle, I cannot see them as favourites tonight.

The Selection: Real Madrid to beat Liverpool @ 3.22

All eyes will also be on Wembley Stadium this weekend, as Newcastle and Manchester United face off in what could be Newcastle’s first trophy since the 1950s. Their midweek clash with Liverpool couldn’t not have gone worse, with keeper Nick Pope sent off for an embarrassing fondle of the ball just outside his box. With Rashford in the form of his life, I think Man U can take this on the way to greater things in the league.

The Selection: Manchester United to Win against Newcastle @ 2.18

Rugby

Later on this week, we will be thrust back into the thick of the Six Nations rugby, in which Ireland thus far have shown themselves to be worthy favourites.

This weekend, England and Wales will showdown at the Millenium Stadium, one of the world’s superior rugby grounds. Although the bookmakers are currently making England the favourites, with Wales conducting a weak start to this year’s tournament, I believe they will ultimately come out on top against Engladn, either via the handicap or with the true match result.

The Selection: Wales + 3.5 against England @ 2.04

Boxing

And finally, it would not do justice to the game of tipping without acknowledging the Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury fight on the 26th. Personally, I have always been a Fury fan and I believe he will take down the American influencer convincingly.

The Selection: Tommy Fury to win @ 2.19
